MARSIONA BARDHI Violino

STUDIES
Born in Tirana, Albania, in 1997, started to study piano and music theory at the age of 5. One year
later started violin lessons near Artistic Lyceum ‘Jordan Misja’ of Tirana. At the same year gives her
first concert and grabs a special prize in the competition ‘Earth Songs’.

In 2015 finishes studies of high school with the highest vote and starts Bachelor program of violin
performance in the Academy of Arts of Tirana, under the guide of M°Bujar Sykja. In 2016 wins a
scholarship and follows studies of violin for one semester in ‘Giuseppe Tartini’ conservatory of music
of Trieste, Italy, under the Guide of Sinead Nava, Romolo Gessi.
In 2018 finishes Bachelor degree with the highest vote.
In november 2019 starts her Master degree program in violin performance near Conservatory of
music ‘Guido Cantelli’ of Novara, Italy, in the class of the excellent violinist of Trio di Parma, Ivan
Rabaglia.
In march 2022 gets her Master degree with 110 points cum laude.

ORCHESTRAL EXPERIENCE
Started to play as the guide of the violins since the age of 9 in the kid’s concerts of the Artistic Lyceum
of Tirana. Goes on to have concerts with pre-highschool orchestras, as solo and principal violin.
In 2012, at 15 years old gets chosen by the conductor Alvaro Palmen, the role of concertmaester in
Stravinsky’s Firebird, in Bochum Orchestra Academy. After this experience gets trusted to lead the
Orchestra of Artistic Lyceum, Orchestra ‘Tirana’ and also playing as soloist Vivaldi – double violin
concert, Kreisler – Prelude and Allegro, P.Gaci – violin concerto, etc.
In 2014 leads ‘Orchestra Tirana’ on Tour in Italy (Parma, Piacenza) and Germany (Berlin), and plays as
a Soloist Vivaldi’s concerto for violin and violoncello.
In 2016 leads the Orchestra of ‘Vasa Pavic’ School of Podgorica touring in Montenegro, as well as plays
with them as soloist Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for violin and viola, under the baton of the belgian
conductor Daniel Glineur.
Still in 2016 wins the audition to join the famous Mediterranean Youth Orchestra in France, having
concerts in Aix-en-Provence, France, Ljubljana, Slovenia and Zadar Croatia, under the baton of the
marvellous Marko Letonja, and coached by London Royal Symphony Orchestra’s players.
Between 2016-2017 starts to play in Italian orchestras due to her scholarship in Tartini’s Conservatory
of Trieste. In 2018 gets invited to play again with Mediterranean Youth Orchestra, this time under the
baton of the famous conductor Kazushi Ono.
In 2019 is part Kosovo Youth Orchestra in Neerpelt Festival, Belgium.
In 2020 and 2021 leads the orchestra of the Conservatory ‘G.Cantelli’ of Novara, under the baton of
Nicola Paszkowski. Summer 2021 is part of ‘Bulgaria Classic Orchestra’ tour in Italy.
Also in 2021 gets invited as principal violin of MCO (Monferrato Classic Orchestra), under the baton of
the winner of ‘Premio Toscanini’, Vitali Alekseenok.
Gets invited periodically to have concerts with Teatro Coccia’s Orchestra of Novara.

Has had masterclasses with various excellent violinists and chamber music professionals, such as:
Jonian Ilias Kadesha, Amiram Ganz, Peter Szantos, Alban Pengili, Alda Dizdari, Evangelos Papadimitri,
Francesca Leonardi, Bruno Canino, Francesca Dego etc.

Has given 4 recitals (2012, 2014, 2017 and 2021), the last one (18.12.2021), was dedicated to
Beethoven violin sonatas no.5 and no.9.

Is also very dedicated to chamber music, plays in different ensembles, worth mentioning Clarinet
quintet of Mozart, Busoni and Brahms (concerts in Torino, Italy and Vienna, Austria in 2021), A. Casella
– Serenade for small ensemble (violin, violoncello, bassoon, clarinet and trumpet) winning the
conservatory audition for internal concerts, H.Kràsa Passacaglia and Fugue for Violin, viola and
Violoncello.

As well as of course, more classical repertoire, such as Beethoven Piano Trios, Mendelssohn’s 1
st piano trio, Dvorak Trio Dumky, Brahms piano trio op.8, Nino Rota Trio for Violin Flute and Piano, etc.
